What is Vanda Trade

Vanda Trade is a non-custodial trading app for perpetual contracts. Using USDC as margin, you can trade the price of crypto assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as US stocks, indices and ETFs, gold, crude oil and forex, 24/7. Trades are executed and settled on-chain on Hyperliquid, so every fill is publicly verifiable, and your funds stay under your control.

Supported markets

  • Crypto: Bitcoin, Ethereum and hundreds of other tokens.
  • US stocks: contracts tracking companies such as Tesla, NVIDIA and Apple.
  • Indices and ETFs: Nasdaq 100, S&P 500 and other index products.
  • Commodities: gold, silver, crude oil, natural gas and more.
  • Forex: major currencies such as the euro, yen and pound.

Stock, index, commodity and forex markets are deployed by third parties; the deployer is shown in each market’s Info tab.

Getting started

  • Connect a wallet. Tap “Connect” in the top right. Browser extension wallets are detected automatically, and you can scan a QR code with a mobile wallet through WalletConnect.
  • Deposit USDC. On the Deposit page, send native USDC on the Arbitrum network. The minimum is 5 USDC and funds usually arrive in about a minute.
  • Enable trading. Before your first order, read and accept the risk notice, then sign twice in your wallet: once to approve the platform service fee and once to authorize the trading key on this device. These signatures cost no gas.
  • Place an order. Pick a market, choose limit or market, enter the amount and confirm. From then on, orders are placed instantly without wallet pop-ups.

Order types

  • Limit: buys or sells at your price or better. Unfilled orders stay on the order book until filled or cancelled.
  • Market: fills immediately at the best available prices, within your maximum slippage (1% by default, adjustable on the Me page). Any part beyond the slippage limit is cancelled.
  • Reduce only: only closes or reduces an existing position and never opens a new one. Use it to close positions.
  • Take profit / stop loss: attach TP/SL when opening a position, or set them on an existing position. They trigger as market orders when the price reaches your level.

The minimum order value is 10 USDC.

Leverage and margin

Leverage lets you open a position larger than your margin. The default is 5x, and the maximum depends on the market. Higher leverage means a liquidation price closer to the current price.

  • Cross margin: positions share your available balance, which helps avoid liquidation but puts the whole balance at risk.
  • Isolated margin: each position has its own margin, so a loss is limited to that position.
  • The order form shows your margin, estimated liquidation price and estimated fees before you submit.

Funding

Perpetual contracts have no expiry. To keep the contract price close to the underlying price, longs and shorts pay each other funding every hour. When the rate is positive, longs pay shorts; when negative, shorts pay longs. The current rate and countdown are shown at the top of the trade page.

Fees

  • Trading fees: charged by the exchange according to your fee tier (base rate 0.045% taker, 0.015% maker). Some third-party markets set their own rates.
  • Platform service fee: 0.015% of the value of each trade.
  • Funding: paid or received every hour while a position is open.
  • Withdrawals: 1 USDC per withdrawal.

Deposits and withdrawals

  • Only native USDC on Arbitrum is supported. Sending other tokens or using other networks may result in permanent loss.
  • Withdrawals go to your connected wallet on Arbitrum, need one wallet signature, and usually arrive within a few minutes.
  • Make sure you keep a little ETH on Arbitrum to pay gas when depositing.

The trading key on this device

When you enable trading, your browser creates a trading key and your wallet authorizes it to place orders for you. It can only trade; it cannot withdraw or transfer funds. It is stored encrypted in this browser, expires after 30 days, and is removed when you disconnect or revoke it from the Me page.

Security tips

  • Never share your recovery phrase with anyone, including people claiming to be Vanda Trade support.
  • Bookmark the official website and check the address before connecting your wallet.

FAQ

  • My market order wasn’t filled. The price moved more than your maximum slippage. Increase it on the Me page or use a limit order.
  • “Trading authorization has expired”. The trading key on this device expired or was revoked. Follow the prompt to enable trading again.
  • Why does the stock price differ from the exchange price? Contracts trade around the clock, while stock exchanges have fixed hours. Outside those hours, the contract price reflects supply and demand on-chain.
  • Is a US stock contract the same as owning the stock? No. Perpetual contracts only track price. They do not represent ownership of shares and carry no dividends or voting rights.
  • Where are my funds? In your own wallet and your on-chain trading account. Vanda Trade never holds custody of your funds.
  • Do I need to sign up? No account registration is needed; just connect a wallet. Please make sure the service is permitted where you live.
